Do Now: 
-Take out your grammar packet to be checked (p.165 & 166).
(You will watch the morning show while it is being checked so it needs to 
be out.)

To Do:
1. Grammar: We will go over p.165 & 166 in the Grammar Packet.

2. Literature: Today we will start reading chapter 3 of The Outsiders and 
complete some of the chapter three questions in The Outsiders packet.

3. SSR: New SSR Project will be passed out and explained.

4. Vocabulary: The Outsiders Ch.1-3 Vocab. Review

5. Writing: R.A.C.E.

HW: 
1. Choose an SSR project you want to do for the end of the marking period.
2. Read your SSR book for at least 30 minutes.
3. Study The Outsiders Ch.1-3 vocab. words
4. RACE paragraph due tomorrow
5. Do bottom of ch.3 vocab. page in The Outsiders packet
6. NoRedInk: Pronoun Practice due tomorrow

5. Writing: R.A.C.E. 
Take out your Act 1 RACE paragraph.
You will trade with a classmate and get feedback on your response.
