Do Now
Finish your conversations, have out your ELA binder
and look ready to watch the morning show.

To Do:
1. Grammar
Subject-Verb Agreement Kahoot on Google Classroom

2. Literature
Today we will continue reading chapter 3 of The Outsiders and 
complete some of the chapter three questions in The Outsiders packet.

3. SSR
What did you pick for your 3rd marking period SSR project?

4. Vocabulary
The Outsiders Ch.1-3 Vocab. Kahoot Review

5. Writing
We will write a R.A.C.E. response to the following: 

"So far, which character is your favorite and why?"

Give specific reasons from the story to support your
answer. You need to follow R.A.C.E. to receive credit.


If we get all of our work done with time left in class, we can start watching The Outsiders movie that Mrs. King picked up yesterday.


HW
1. Read your SSR book for at least 30 minutes. (project due at end of month)

2. Study The Outsiders Ch.1-3 vocab. words (vocab. test next week)


Period 5-6

Do Now
Take out your Act 1 RACE response to hand in.  (Put in basket)
Open up to 4E (vocab. w.book) to be checked.

Take out your RACE paragraph packet.
Choose a prompt to answer and start writing your response.

HW
1. Read your SSR book for at least 30 minutes.
2. Study Lesson 4 vocab. words
3. You can start writing your Act 2 RACE paragraph if you feel ready.
