Do Now: 
Finish your conversations, have out your ELA binder
and look ready to watch the morning show.


To Do:
1. Grammar:

2. Vocabulary: 
The Outsiders Ch.1-3 Vocab. Kahoot Review (Vocab. Quiz Wednesday)


3. Literature & Writing: 
a. Today we will continue reading (possibly finish) chapter 3 of The Outsiders and 
complete the chapter three questions in The Outsiders packet.

b. We will write a R.A.C.E. response to the following: 
"How did Ponyboy feel after Cherry said that she could not be seen with him?  How could you tell he felt that way?"
Give specific reasons from the story to support your
answer. You need to follow R.A.C.E. to receive credit.R.A.C.E.


c. We will start watching the movie once everyone writes their answers.


HW: 
1. Read your SSR book for at least 30 minutes. (project due at end of month)
2. Study The Outsiders Ch.1-3 vocab. words (vocab. test Wednesday)
3. Make up any work you have a 0 on or are missing on RealTime.

4. Writing: R.A.C.E. 
Take out your RACE paragraph packet.
Choose a prompt about Act 2 to answer and start writing your response.
