Do Now: 
Finish your conversations, have out your ELA binder
and look ready to watch the morning show.


To Do:
1. Grammar: 

a. We will go over the answers to the
Subject-Verb-Pronoun-Agreement Pop Quiz

b. We will take the NoRedInk Pronouns Quiz (Due in class)


2. Literature & Writing: 
a. We will continue watching the movie up to the point where we have read so far (When Darry slaps Ponyboy after coming home late).  

b. We will continue reading (possibly finish) chapter 3 of The Outsiders and 
complete the chapter three questions in The Outsiders packet.

c. We will write a R.A.C.E. response to one of the prompts 
from chapter 3: The Outsiders Reading Response Prompts

Give specific reasons from the story to support your
answer. You need to follow R.A.C.E. to receive credit.R.A.C.E.



HW: 
1. Read your SSR book for at least 30 minutes. (project due at end of month)
2. Study The Outsiders Ch.1-3 vocab. words (vocab. test tomorrow)
3. Make up any work you have a 0 on or are missing on RealTime.
4. CommonLit: "Masks" Assignment
5. Chapter 3 RACE response due tomorrow
