Period 2-3

1. SSR (15-20 mins.)

Begin silent reading.
Today, you should be completing your 4th entry.
Sheet due tomorrow.

2. Vocabulary: (0 mins.) 

Lesson 2 Vocab. Test tomorrow!

3. Grammar: (25-30 mins)
     a. We'll go over the Rule 5 pages today in 

         the Grammar Packet (Rules 2, 3, 4, & 5) 

     b. Hand in your grammar packet if you didn't 

         do that yesterday.

     c. Quiz on Rules 2-5 on Monday.  Use the Quizlets I posted 
         on Google Classroom to help you study.

4. Writing: (10 minutes)

 In your journal, respond to one of these prompts.  Your answer should be at least 3 complete sentences, but not longer than two paragraphs. (You should have two entries done by Monday, which will be checked). Spelling, grammar and capitalization should all be correct.

Begin silent reading.
Fill out the rest of your log when the timer goes off.

2. Vocabulary (15-20 mins) 

We'll play Quizlet.live to study for tomorrow's 

Lesson 2 Vocab. Test!

3. Grammar (15-20 mins) 

Take out your grammar packet to be checked (up to p.37 should be done).

We will do the next page of the packet together.

Finish the whole packet for homework.

4. Literature (15-20 mins) 

     a. Take out your Stargirl packet & get a copy of the book.
     b. Today we will finish reading up through chapter 28 and 

         answer the questions for chapters 27 & 28 in the packet.

     c. Take the Ch.22-28 Stargirl Quiz.

5. Writing (10 mins.)

In your journal, respond to one of these prompts.

-1 SSR entry for today (should be done already if you finished it in class)

-Lesson 2 vocab. test tomorrow

-Grammar packet due tomorrow & Quiz on Monday (study the quizlets on Google Classroom)
