Period 2-3

1. SSR (1-2 mins.)

Hand in your SSR Log sheet in the metal basket.

2. Vocabulary: (15-20 mins.) 

Complete the "Test" activity on Quizlet.  

Give your score to Mr. Hicks to write down.

That will count as your test grade for Lesson 2.

3. Grammar: (15-20 mins)
Use the Quizlets on Google Classroom to help you study.

4. Writing: (10 minutes)

 In your journal, respond to one of these prompts.  Your answer should be at least 3 complete sentences, but not longer than two paragraphs.

HW:

-Grammar packet: Quiz on Monday
-1 New Year's writing prompt (20 entries due on 1/31)

Period 5-6

1. SSR: Hand in your reading log sheet in the metal basket.

2. Vocabulary (15-20 mins) 

Complete the "Test" activity on Quizlet.

When you submit it, ask the sub. to come write down your score.

(That will count as your Lesson 2 test score.)

3. Grammar (15-20 mins) 

If you did not finish the grammar packet, you need to do that.

Grammar quiz on Monday.  Use the Quizlets on Google Classroom

to study for it.

4. Literature (15-20 mins) 

     a. Read chapters 29 & 30 in Stargirl.

     b. Answer the chapter 29 & 30 questions in the packet.

5. Writing (10 mins.)

In your journal, respond to one of these prompts.
