Period 2-3

Do Now:
1. Take out your recipe for the Thanksgiving How To Assignment
2. Take out your SSR book.
3. Open up to your SSR log sheet.
4. Fill out the time and page you are starting on.
5. Begin silent reading.
6. When the timer goes off write your reading log.
*If you have already written your 4 logs for this week, 
hand it in and read silently or work on something you
need to make up for English class.

To Do:
1. Writing: Write your reading log. 

2. Get a chrome book.  Open up Google Classroom.
Scroll to the Thanksgiving How To Essay.
Open the document.
Close your screen 1/2 way.
Pay attention to the SMART board and Mrs. King 
as she shows how to write the introductory paragraph.
Intro. Video

3. Vocab.:  We will play Quizlet.live to study the vocab. words 
you chose for the quiz which is tomorrow.

4. Reading: We will finish reading chapter 4 in The Call of the Wild today.
We will work on the chapter 4 & 5 questions.
HW:
1. Study vocabulary words for tomorrow's quiz on TCOTW ch.1-3 vocab.
2. SSR Log sheet due tomorrow.
3. Finish writing your introductory paragraph.

2. Grammar: Begin working on Sentences & Sentence Fragments lessons on NoRedInk.
Due 11/21 (next Thursday)
*If you finish early, you may work on CommonLit.

3. Vocab.:  We will play Quizlet.live to study the vocab. words from
 "The Monkey's Paw" you chose for the quiz which is tomorrow.

1. Study vocabulary words for tomorrow's quiz.
2. SSR Log due sheet due tomorrow.
3. CommonLit.org assignment: "The Third Wish" due Monday instead of tomorrow.
