Do Now:1. Take out your SSR book.
2. Open up to your SSR log sheet.
3. Fill out the time and page you are starting on.
4. Begin silent reading.
5. When the timer goes off write your reading log.
To Do:
1. Writing: Write your reading log.
2. Vocab.: Take out the words you chose to define from chapters 1-3
and put it in the metal basket with the green 7 on it.
(I will create a Quizlet for us to study using the words you picked.)
We will have a quiz on those words on Friday.
3. Reading: We will continue reading The Call of the Wild today.
We will work on the chapters 4 & 5 packet too.
HW:
1. Study TCOTW Ch.1-3 Vocab. Quizlet (Quiz Fri.)
2. Completed SSR sheet due Friday.
3. Hand in your "How To Thanksgiving Project"
Permission Slip that has been signed by your parent.
4. Bring in the recipe for the dish you are going to make.

Raise your hand when you find a word you want to know and Mrs. King will
come over to you to write it down.
We will use those words to create a Quizlet to study.
There will be a quiz on Friday on the words you have chosen.

As we read, we will highlight in pink any evidence of foreshadowing in the story.
