1. Do Now: Silent Reading and write a reading log (20 minutes)
2. Today we will learn a new set of vocabulary words from Lesson 5 of Wordly Wise. If you had Mr. Chiang for English last year, this may be a review for you. Read over the list of words and their definitions carefully.
3. Then complete exercises a, b, c, d, & e in the packet.
4. We will play Quizlet.live to study the words together.
5. We will start reading The Green Mamba by Roald Dahl on page 239 of the textbook.
We will focus on making inferences. As we read, we will discuss the red "infer" tabs on the side of the pages.
Read page 248
Do #1-4 on page 249.
HW: Finish any classwork, silent reading and write a reading log.
Do not lose your vocabulary packet. You will not get another.
