1. SSR + Reading Log EVERYONE needs to read a book this marking period. That means no articles this time. If you don't have a book yet, you will need to go on GoodReads.com and write down three choices to get at the library today.
2. The Outsiders vocabulary activity. We will work together to find the meaning of the words on the "Outsiders Slang Activity" sheet.
-First, we will write what we THINK each word means in pencil.
-Then we will look up the words to find out what they actually mean.
-Did you get any right?
-We will play Kahoot to see who know the terms the best!
HW:
Go to the library and get a book TODAY if you don't find one in our classroom that you want to read. Tonight you need to read for 30 mins. and write a reading log based on what you read.
This will be checked tomorrow. It will be graded.
