I'll check the HW: first three lessons of typing.com.
Today we will read chapter 2 of The Call of the Wild by Jack London.
We will complete the text evidence tables for all chapter two parts.

When you are done you can go on newsela.com and do another article.
Remember: When we do 8, you'll get a good idea where you stand as a reader!
When you're done, go on typing.com and continue your lessons. You must have the first three lessons done by the end of class today.
Period 5-6
I'll check the HW: "Rules of the Game" worksheet
You will go on newsela.com and choose an article you're interested in.
Directions once you've chosen an article:
1. Set the reading level.
2. Read it carefully.
3. Make annotations.
4. Take the quiz.
5. Do the writing prompt.
Once we do 8 articles we will get a good idea of where we are as readers.
When you're done: typing.com and continue your lessons in order. (You must have the first three lessons done by the end of class today.)
