For Mr. Chiang's Class: SCOPE Magazine for Wed. 11/16

Here's what you'll do today:

Today we will start class by playing a game with a beach ball.

1. 10 minutes of SSR
     -Take out your English binder and turn to your reading log.  Take out your SSR book.
     -IT MUST BE COMPLETELY SILENT for 10 minutes while you are reading.
     -YOU MUST BE READING.
     -Once the timer goes off, you must fill out your READING LOG.

2. Get a chrome book and sign in.  We will finish the lesson 5 quizlet that we began yesterday.
     -Log into Google.
     -Open up a new tab and go to quizlet.com.  Just like you did with lesson 4, you will create a      quizlet for lesson 5 today.  You should have 27 terms when you are finished.
*The lesson 5 vocabulary test will be on Friday.

      -You can then work on 5 a, b, c, d, e (due tomorrow) if you haven't completed it yet.

      -Exercise E will be worth a quiz grade so you may want to double check it during this time.

Let's go over 5 a & b and then I'll collect your workbooks.

3. You can then go to your personal narrative and continue or finish up your rough draft.  This is also due tomorrow. YOUR WHOLE STORY SHOULD BE WRITTEN by the end of the day today.  I will be grading the rough draft tomorrow.  Be sure to share it with me through Google docs so I can see what you've written.

-5 a-e due tomorrow, Wednesday 11/16; 5e is worth a quiz grade

-1-4 review is extra credit

-personal narrative rough draft is due tomorrow 11/16 (share it through Google Docs)
