Period 2-3:
First we will take our grammar guided-assessment on types of sentences and the subject and predicate of a sentence.
Today we will discuss the six main reasons to write. We will begin planning our essays on personal narratives. We will look at an example of a personal narrative and then get to work on our own essays in class. Our five-paragraph rough drafts will be due on Wednesday, November 4th.
Period 5-6: Today we will use our Venn diagrams to begin writing our compare and contrasts essays of The Landlady story and The Landlady Movie.
