7th Grade Resource ELA 10:40am Mondays and Wednesdays.  
Friday is optional.
(Google Meeting IS REQUIRED today.  
Feel free to text or call your friend if s/he should 
be in class with us right now!) 

Class changes for 4th marking period: 
You will have a new participation grade (100-point test grade) 
for 4th marking period to ensure you are participating during 
remote learning.

This is how it works: 
Every day in class you have a chance to earn up to 4 points.  
     -1 point for being logged into our Monday and Wednesday Google Meetings 
            (10:40am-whenever Mrs. King says you can leave).

     -1 point for logging in ON TIME (10:40am or before). 

     -1 point for asking a question about what we are doing in class.

     -1 point for making a statement, adding to our class discussion 
             about what we are doing in class in a positive way.  

*I will be keeping track of every person's participation on a spread sheet. 

Try to earn 4 points every Monday and Wednesday during your required 
Google Meetings.  Be on time (10:40am Mon. & Wed.).  Friday is optional.

Fridays are NOT required, but can help add points to your grade.

1. Writing: Capturing Our Time in History Project
Attach your work to the assignment in GC and 
turn it in Capturing Our Time in History Writing Project  
                 ↑ If you already did this, GOOD!  
                Your project grade is in RealTime. 
Due: Late if not handed in yet!


2.  Literature: ReadWorks.org Assignment #1: "What's in a Name?"
Due: Friday @ 3pm


3. Vocabulary: Wordly Wise workbook: Lesson 4 
Send photos of activities A, B, C, D & E to Mrs. King to show you did it.
Activity E must be written in complete sentences for credit.
Activity E 
Due: Friday @ 3pm.

4. Upcoming Grammar: Remote Instruction Unit 1 Practice Assignment on NoRedInk.com
You can start working on it on Friday 4/17 and it is due the following Friday 4/24.
(You have 7 days to get it done.)  It will be a 100-point Quiz grade.
In Practice assignments, you must MASTER a topic to unlock the next topic.
