at 8:30am to make sure you are all logged on and starting 
your school work for the day.

Day 6 At-Home To Do List for English Class:

Period 2-3:

1. SSR: (~25-30 mins.)
    a. Read your SSR book for at least 20 minutes today.
    b. Write a reading log on the sheet you were given in class.
        (8 reading logs are due when we return to school)

2. Grammar: (~15-20 mins)
    a. Take the Mixed Practice Grammar Quiz on NoRedInk.

3. Vocab.: (~5-10 mins)
    a. Do the chapter 11 vocab. page in The Outsiders packet.
    b. You need to send a picture of your work to Mrs. King in our Google Chat.

4. Literature: (~20-25 mins)
    a. Today you need to read chapter 11 of The Outsiders.
         The Outsiders full text
    b. Ch.11 Audio
    c. Do the chapter 11 questions in The Outsiders packet

    d. Send a photo of your work to the class Google Chat.

    a. 6 A & B in your vocabulary workbook.
    b. Create a Quizlet study set on Lesson 6 words and add it to the class.
    c. Send a photo of your work on the class Google Chat.

4. Literature: (~25-30 mins)
    a. Log into ReadWorks.org and open up "Take by Surprise."
    b. Read the short story.
    c. Answer the 7 multiple choice questions.
    d. Write a response to 8 & 9. You must write in complete sentences with
        proper punctuation, capitalization and spelling.
    e. Answer question 10 using R.A.C.E.
    f. Press "Turn In" on Google Classroom.
