Day 4 At-Home To Do List for English Class:

Period 2-3:

1. Vocabulary:
    a. Study The Outsiders vocabulary quizlets for chapters 8, 9 & 10 for about 10-15 minutes.
    b. Log onto Quizlet and complete the "test" activity for  chapter 8, 9 & 10 vocab.
    c. Write down your scores and send them to me on a Google Hangouts Chat message or
        show me your screen during today's Google Hangouts Meeting from 8:30-9am.
    d. These three scores will be averaged together for your Vocab. Test Grade!

2. Literature:
    a. Log into NewsELA.com.
    b. Click on "binder" to see your newest assignment.
    c. Read the article titled, "Being Punctual is Important'"
    d. As you read, make at least 3 annotations on it.
         Your annotations can be about anything the article makes
         you think or wonder about as you read.
    e. Write a response to the "Write" activity question using R.A.C.E.
    f. Answer the 4 "Quiz" activity questions.
    g. Complete the "Power Words" section.
    h. Press "Turn In" on Google Classroom when you're done working.
    
3. SSR:
    a. Read your SSR book for at least 20 minutes today.
    b. Write a reading log on the sheet you were given on Thursday or Friday
     in class. (8 reading logs are due when we return to school)

3. Grammar:
    a. Work on NoRedInk Mixed Practice (Due Tomorrow).
    b. Mixed Practice Grammar Quiz is on Monday, 3/16! 

All online work is due by 6pm tonight.
