Do Now:
Open up to p.21 of The Outsiders packet.
Look ready to watch The Morning Show.


To Do:
1. Vocabulary
     a. We will go over p.21 of The Outsiders packet (ch.8 vocab.)
     b. Create a Quizlet with the chapter 8 vocabulary.
     c. Add your Quizlet to the class.

2. Literature
     a. We will go over the end-of-chapter questions for chapter 7.
     b. Choose a prompt about chapter 7 to write your RACE response about.
     c. Write your chapter 7 RACE response and hand it in.

3. Grammar
     a. NoRedInk: Mixed Practice (due 3/13)


HW:
1. Read your SSR book for at least one hour this weekend.
2. Update what page you are on using GoodReads.com.
3. NoRedInk: Mixed Practice Assignment is due 3/13.

1. Writing:
     a. We will go over how to write your first body paragraph for your essay using 
         YOUR COPY of the outline to fill in before writing the essay
          -The outline is worth 100 points of your final essay grade!  
           -We will work on this as soon as we finish 
           watching West Side Story.
     b. Once your first body paragraph section is done, you may type your first body                          paragraph into your essay.

2. Vocabulary:
     a. We will play Quizlet.live with Lesson 5 vocabulary words.
     b. Test next week. (To be determined)

3. Grammar: 
     a. Work on NoRedInk: Mixed Practice Assignment (due 3/13)
