Period 2-3

Do Now: 
Finish your conversations and look ready to watch the morning show.
To Do:
1. Vocabulary
a. The Outsiders packet. (Ch.4 Vocab. page)
b. Create a ch.4 Quizlet and add it to the class.

2. Literature
a. We will go over the homework assignment from CommonLit that was last night's homework.
b. We will start reading chapter 4 and complete any chapter 4 questions we can.

3. Writing
a. Read over the Chapter 4 Writing prompts and start thinking about which one you might want to write a response to.  When we finish reading chapter 4, we will write another RACE response.

4. SSR
Meet with Mrs. King to check in on your SSR project/reading.


HW
-Finish making your Chapter 4 Quizlet
-Finish the Ch.4 Vocab page of The Outsiders packet
-Read your SSR book (project due 2/28)
-Make up any work you have a 0 on or are missing in RealTime.
-CommonLit Assignment: "Help-Giving"

Do Now: Quiet down and pay attention to the SMART board.

To Do:
1. Vocabulary
a. We will go over the Lesson 4 Vocab. Test.  
b. The retake will take place at the Drop In Center on Thursday,, February 20th.  If you want to retake this test, please plan to be there and remember to show up.  
          Book 6 Lesson 4
          Book 8 Lesson 4 (RR's test)

2. Literature
a. We will  go over the CommonLit assignment, "Help-Giving" which was last night's homework.
b. We will continue reading R&J (Act 3, Scene 3) and complete the Act 3, Scene 3 questions in the packet .
c. After we read, we will review Act 3 using this Quizizz.

3. Writing
a. Read over the Act 3 Writing prompts and start thinking about which one you might want to write a response to.  When we finish reading Act 3, we will write another RACE response.
b. Start writing your response if you're ready to. (If you choose to type it, you must print it to hand in). 

4. SSR
Meet with Mrs. King to check in on your SSR project/reading.
