-one thing you learned,
-one thing you have a question about
and
-one fact you found interesting.


To Do:
1. Read the article, "50 Years After MLK."
     a. As you read, write down any comments or questions you have.
     b. Answer these two questions:
          -How did Martin Luther King Jr.’s work result in positive 
          changes in the United States?
          -What are some examples of racial inequality in the U.S. today?
          -Which of King’s accomplishments do you think made the biggest impact
     Cite text evidence.



2. Why We Can't Wait worksheet

3. Begin working on the ReadWorks.org assignment.

4. If you finish early, you can start working on your homework.

HW:
-Finish the ReadWorks assignment on MLK (due tomorrow)
-Do 1 SSR (3 due on Friday)
-Read over the list of Lesson 3 vocabulary words and do activities A & B (due tomorrow)
-MLK webquest for Extra Credit
    *ASK FOR A WORKSHEET IF YOU MAY WANT TO DO THIS (due Friday)
-Don't forget to write a New Year's Writing Prompt in your journal (20 entries due 1/31)
