Period 2-3

Do Now: Take out your SSR book and log.  Begin silent reading.

To Do:

1. Writing:

-Write your SSR Log when the timer goes off. (Sheet due Fri.)

-When you are done with your log, get a chrome book and log into your

essay.

-Close your screen 1/2 way and pay attention to the SMART board.

-Today we will discuss the conclusion paragraph of the Thanksgiving How To Essay.

 Grading rubric for the Thanksgiving How To Essay

-Mr. Hicks and Mrs. King will be logging in to your essays while you

work.  Pay attention to the comments and suggestions we write to you.

2. Grammar:

-Work on NoRedInk: Capitalization Lessons (All Practice due 11/26)

3. Vocab.:  You will get your new vocabulary workbooks today!

-Finish the Thanksgiving How To Essay (due tomorrow)

-SSR Log sheet (due tomorrow)

-Do Lesson 1, activities a & b in vocab. workbook (due tomorrow)
