Period 2-3

Today we will finish watching The Mighty and filling out our Venn diagrams to compare Kevin and Max.  You will hand in your completed Venn diagram when the movie ends.

HW: 
Log in to RealTime and see if you have any missing assignments and get them done.
Let Mrs.King know if you made up an assignment so she can go in and raise your grade.
Bring back signed permission slip for the Bogota Public Library Trip.
Bring back completed application for a Bogota Public Library Student Card.

Do Now: SSR & Reading Log
Today you will need to write an entry that follows the whole rubric.  
You will have more time to write your response.

To Do:

1. When you finish your SSR Log, press Turn In so Mrs. King knows she can grade it.
(unless you're doing E.C. over the weekend).

2. Log in to NoRedInk and complete the Commonly Confused Words Parts 1 & 2 Quiz.

3. Scroll to page 53 of the FFA Packet .  
Open up another tab with Quizlet.
Create a new study set by clicking the plus symbol.
Title it FFA Vocab. YOUR NAME
Look at the yellow Vocabulary box on page 53.
-The words you need to include are: 
           misled
           regression
           obscure
           deterioration
           introspective
-Look at the green part called Literary Focus and add the terms:
          subplots
          parallel episodes

4. Complete pages 1, 2, & 3 in the Flowers For Algernon Readers/Writers Notebook Packet.

HW: 
Finish your FFA Quizlet Study Set (Total of 7 terms only for now!)
