Period 2-3

Do Now:
Hand in your SSR Log sheet.

Hand in your The Call of the Wild Ch.1-3 packet.

Get a chrome book and log into NoRedInk.com

Click on the Unit 2 Test so it is ready in a few minutes when we begin the test.

STOP and listen to Mrs. King while she explains the How To/Thanksgiving Project to the class.

Ask any questions you may have about the assignment or write them down to ask later.


To Do: 
1. Take the Unit 2 Test on NoRedInk.com.
When you are done: Work on any work you need to make up.
(NoRedInk, ReadWorks)
See Mrs. King if you're not sure what you need to make up.

OR

Complete the "History of Halloween" assignment on ReadWorks.org.


2. Flip through chapters 1-3 of The Call of the Wild and find three
words you don't know the meaning of.  Writ them down in the
Vocabulary section of your binder.

We will create a vocabulary list to study on Quizlet.


3. Once everyone has finished the Unit 2 Test, we will
continue reading The Call of the Wild if we have time.
*Chapters 4-6 packets will be handed out.
(They need to stay in the Reading section of your binder.)

HW:
Bring back Thanksgiving hand out signed, with the recipe you're making.
Have a nice weekend!
Finish up any make up work you need to do!

2. We will start reading a new short story called
"The Monkey's Paw."
Everyone will get a copy of it.
It stays in the Reading section of your binder.
