Period 2-3

SSR while Mrs. King checks everyone's second Reading Response

We will work on another Reading Response in class and meet with Mrs. King to go over how to write it correctly.

HW: SSR & Reading Response in the Google doc you started in class on Thursday.

Period 5-6

1.  SSR while Mrs. King checks everyone's second Reading Response

2. We will review the vocabulary terms we have learned so far.
The words come from lessons 1-20!  The first set of words are:
distinction, bigotry, overwhelming, aspired, 
deplore, astute, grueling, debut, prowess, 
harass, and dissuade.
We will play Quizlet.live with the vocabulary words from lessons 1-20.

3. We will begin reading some poetry. p.662 in the red TB
a. Respond to the Quickwrite on p.662
b. Together we will read John Keats' On the Grasshopper and the Cricket.
c. Do 1-5 + Writing a Nature Poem p.665 (due tomorrow)

4. If you finish everything, you may work on NoRedInk or start HW.

HW:
SSR & Do third Reading Response Quilt square (Will be checked Monday)
-Completed Quilt is due June 18th.
Finish p.665 (1-5 + Nature Poem)
