Good Morning,
I am at a workshop today to learn about co-teaching so I will not be in school today.  Here is what you need to work on in class:

Period 2-3
1. Finish your benchmark if you haven't already done so.  (Shaise and Brando).  Hand them in when you are done.
2. Work no NoRedInk.com (20-25 mins)
3. Silent reading and a reading log.  The sheet will be collected Friday. (20-25 mins)
4. Spend some time on Quizlet studying The Call of the Wild vocabulary. (20 mins)

Emily has her own To Do List:
1. Work on NoRedInk.com (20 mins)
2. Silent reading & reading log. (20 mins)
3. Go on Quizlet and study the "Romeo & Juliet Prologue" (20 mins)
4. Here is a translation of the Prologue.  Read it and in a google doc. (which you need to share with kking@bogotaboe.com) answer these 5 questions:
-What is the tone of the prologue? What words and phrases make you say this?
-In your opinion, which line tells us the most about the world we are about to enter? What makes you say this?
-Write a brief paragraph of the plot of the story in your own words.
-Summarize the differences between the prologue and its plot narrative paraphrase. Use evidence from both passages to support your claim.
-Three things I know about the play; two things I can guess will happen; one question I have.

Period 5-6:
1.  Finish your benchmark if you haven't already done so.
These are on my desk.  Please keep all papers neat and organized.
Go print them in the library if possible.
Hand them in when you are done.

2.  Take a look at the red pocket chart.  Clean out any papers that have been graded and returned to you.  All papers should be put in the correct section of your binder.

3.  If you finish and still have time, you can work on any of the following:
-NoRedInk.com  (commonly confused words)
-Silent reading and a reading log.  The sheet will be collected Friday.
-Spend some time on Quizlet studying  the "Romeo & Juliet Prologue"

Please behave and get all of your work done.

                                                           Have a great day!

                                                                               Mrs. King
