Dear Class,
I have missed you guys and can't wait to get back to school. I promise that I will be back in school tomorrow. Yesterday I got some very strong antibiotics and am finally feeling much better! However, this morning I had to take a Personal Day in order to have a medical procedure done which was planned about a month ago.
We will play Quizlet or Kahoot tomorrow for prizes, so make sure you spend time studying your words. Please make sure you are getting all of your work done. If you decided to waste any class time on Friday, Monday or Tuesday, when I was out, today is your very LAST CHANCE to get it all done.
I will be collecting everything tomorrow to grade. That grade will go into RealTime. I will be collecting the following:
a. The whole completed Prefix & Suffix packet (grammar packet) There should be extras in one of the white baskets by the door if you've misplaced yours.
b. The reading questions packet which has gone along with the novel we've been reading in class, either The Outsiders Lit Guide for 7th grade OR The Red Kayak Test Study Guide for 8th grade.
Also, make sure you've decided on your group prize so we can celebrate your good behavior points from ClassDojo. *If I get a bad report from the substitute(s) when I come back, points will be deducted, so stay on your best behavior!
1. SSR 20 minutes + write a reading log.

Period 5-6: Read chapter 22 and answer the questions for that chapter in your The Red Kayak packet.
MC & SM: Book 5, Lesson 5
EC: Book 8, Lesson 5
Period 2-3: Read chapter 10 of The Outsiders and complete the two pages of The Outsiders packet that goes with chapter 10.
3. Spend 15 minutes on Quizlet.com studying this week's vocabulary words.
Period 2-3:
RR & BR: Book 7, Lesson 5
KC: Book 2, Lesson 4
Period 5-6:
Everyone is on Lesson 17
