Period 2-3

Do Now: Take out your HW to be checked.
-vocab. workbook to show activity E
-30 min. reading log
-p.334 of the Prefix & Suffix packet

1. SSR: Set up your reading log for today and begin SSR. 
Write your log when the timer goes off.
Come up for your stamp when you're done writing.
Give yourself however many ClassDojo points you deserve.

2. Vocab.: We will go over E in groups.  
Mrs. King and Mr. Riad will come around to work with each 
workbook group.

While you are waiting, you need to work on Quizlet or any other vocab. 
work you didn't complete that was already due.

All exercises need to be done by end of class today. 
*This week's lessons are: 
      Book 2: Lesson 4
      Book 5: Lesson 5
      Book 7: Lesson 5
      Book 8: Lesson 5

3. Grammar: p.335 & 336 Prefix-Suffix Packet

4. The Outsiders: We will continue reading ch. 7 in The Outsiders.
Do the The Outsiders Lit Guide p.19 & 20.  
*All pages of the packet should be done up to page 20!  
If not, then work on it now.

HW
1. SSR: read 30 mins. + write a reading log

2. Vocabulary: Spend some time on Quizlet studying 
                         your vocab. words

3. Grammar: p.335-336 Prefix & Suffix Packet

4. The Outsiders: Literature Guide up to page 20 should be all completed.


5. Drop In Center: Mrs. King is in the school library every 
Thursday after school for extra help. That's TODAY. Stop by and 
see what you can do to  boost up your  grade!

4. The Red Kayak: We will read ch.18 in The Red Kayak.
Do the the questions in your packet for chapter 18.  
*All pages of the packet should be done up to where we have read in the novel.  
If not, then work on it now.
