Do Now: Take out your 30 minute log to be checked.
Take out any other work you need to show Mrs.King
to get credit.
We will begin watching The Outsiders when everyone is settled.
Today we will watch 90% of the movie. We will read chapters 11 & 12
on Monday/Tuesday next week (depending on how long it takes us)
and then we will finish watching the movie.
On Thursday we will have the vocabulary test and a test on The Outsiders.
On Friday we will have a holiday party in class. There will be a sign up
sheet going around. Sign up for whatever item(s) you would like to
bring in to share with the class the last day before the holiday break.

Class Plan If We Haven't Earned a Movie:
1. We will read the next two chapters of The Red Kayak.
Answer any questions you've found the answers to.
You can work with a partner or alone.
2. We will start watching the movie that shows a theme of, "You should
always do the right thing even when it's not the easiest thing."
