Do Now:  Take out your homework.  Page 6 of The Outsiders Packet.

-Get a chrome book, 

-log in, 

-go to kingenglish7and8.blogspot.com

Finish your Freak The Mighty Essay now.  If it is not done, you must
come to the library after school today.
When you are done, you may work on p.6 of  The Outsiders Work Packet.

1. Reading: SWBAT follow the plot of a seventh grade level text.
SWBAT dicuss The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
We will continue reading The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton.  

Turn to page 10.  

3. Vocab.:  SWBAT determine the meaning of new vocabulary terms from novel we are reading.

Today we will start an assignment on Google Classroom called the
 Outsiders Vocabulary Assignment.  Here are the Directions.

4.  Once you complete the first 5 words, you may do silent reading + your reading log for today.

Start a new reading log for today, and start silent reading.

1.  Reading: We will read on from where we left off yesterday in The Red Kayak 
and complete the questions as we come upon the answers.

2. Vocabulary:
-We will go over the Lesson 15 activity B + C in our workbooks (Last night's HW).
-We will do activity D.
-We will play Quizlet.live to become more familiar with the new vocabulary list (Lesson 15)

3. Grammar: We will go over p.332 in the Good Spelling Habits Packet.
-We will do p.333.
