Period 2-3
Do Now:
-Take out The Monkey's Paw packet.
-Begin a reading log and begin silent reading.
-Your 30 minute reading log from yesterday should be out.
-When everyone is reading, the timer will start.
-When the timer goes off, write your reading log.

1. Reading:  SWBAT use a previously read and discussed story to think critically and solve an escape room activity.  SWBAT apply problem solving skills related to active reading while working together toward a common goal.
Today we will do the long-awaited The Monkey's Paw Escape Room Activity.

2. When you are done, you may work vocabulary. 
Vocab.:  SWBAT determine the meaning of new vocabulary terms from
novel we are reading.  

Continue working on the Outsiders Vocabulary Assignment on Google Classroom.

-Take out the story you wrote with your partner yesterday.
-Take out your answers to questions 1-11 from yesterday.
