Period 2-3
Do Now:  
Begin a reading log and start silent reading.  
When everyone has begun reading, the timer will start.
When you finish your reading log, come up for your sticker.
Once you have a sticker, add a point to your name on Class Dojo.

1. Reading: SWBAT follow the plot of a seventh grade level text.
SWBAT follow along to and discuss The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.
SWBAT answer reading comprehension questions about the novel.
We will continue reading The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton.  
Turn to page 29.  
*We will work on page 9 in the packet together as we read.

2. Vocab.:  SWBAT determine the meaning of new vocabulary terms from
novel we are reading.  Today we will continue working on the Outsider
Vocabulary Assignment on Google Classroom.  
*Here are the Directions if you need a reminder.

3.  Once you complete the first 5 words, you may work on p.333
in the Good Spelling Habits Packet.

2. Vocab. Test 11/2
