Dear Class,
     I am sorry I can't be in school today.  Here is what you guys need to do:

7th Grade:
-Silent Reading and reading log (15 minutes)
-Read Chapter 4 of The Call of the Wild and complete The Call of the Wild Reading Check For Chapter 4.  YOU MUST BE SIGNED INTO GOOGLE TO ACCESS IT.

8th Grade:
-Silent Reading and reading log (15 minutes) 
-Study Lesson 8 Vocabulary on Quizlet.  You can do scatter, gravity, and then test to see if you are ready for the test.  The real test will be on Thursday or Friday.
-Log into Newsela.com and choose an article to read.
     -Complete the 4 "quiz" questions on the article.
     -Follow R.A.C.E. to complete the "write" activity on the article.
