1. Do Now: SSR
*I can identify at least one of the signposts in the story I have chosen to read.
*I can think about the story I am reading.
-Review: Find the signposts in your SSR book.

2.  Vocabulary:
We will play quizlet.live to see how well we know the words going into the lesson.
-Let's go over the new words in the workbook.
-Do 6a and we will go over the answers on the SMART board.
-Let's play Kahoot again to see if we've got a better grasp on any of the words yet.
*I will become familiar with some of the lesson 6 vocabulary terms.
* I will begin to learn the meaning of each word in lesson 6.

3. Writing: 10:20-10:40
C&C Essay: Intro. Paragraph
-You will write this in Google Classroom.
-Use the notes you took while we watched the movie to begin your introductory paragraph.
-Be sure to read my comments and suggestions which will be in green.
*I can write the introduction to my compare and contrast essay, which will compare Hatchet with Castaway.
