Period 5-6
1. Play "Four Corners" -- each corner of the room will be labeled with the
following signs: "Yes/True/Agree" ; "Maybe/It depends" ; "No/False/Disagree";
"Abstain/I don't know/No basis for reference".
-I will read various themes and statements that refer to Romeo and Juliet.
You will select the corner that most closely matches your opinion.
-Students in each corner will discuss their viewpoints and select one
spokesperson to share the group's consensus with the class.
-This will be repeated for approximately ten different statements.
2. At the end, you will select one statement that you had a strong opinion on
and write a paragraph explaining your opinions on that statement.
Literature:
-Present William Shakespeare and Romeo and Juliet Powerpoint
-You will take notes based on PowerPoint and on our discussion
-You will take the quiz on google forms to check that you understood all the
information you learned today and to give you an opportunity to become more familiar with it.
