Period 2-3
Take out:
-reading log and begin silent reading.
-sign into your google drive and open up your essay
I need to see the body paragraph you wrote for HW last night.

1. Fill out your reading log when silent reading time is over.

2. We will share our body paragraphs and check to see that all the required parts are there.

3. Today we will write the second and third body paragraphs of the Example Essay together as a class. 

By the end of class today you should be able to say:
I have a complete introduction and body paragraphs two and three written in rough draft form.
I am ready to write the conclusion paragraph tomorrow.
My essay is complete and in rough draft form.

HW: finish writing body paragraphs 2 & 3 of character analysis essay

1. Fill out your reading log when silent reading time is over.

2. Today we will go over what to include in your body paragraphs:
 Example Essay
Notes

3. Now you can use the example body paragraph and notes to help you write your own. 

By the end of class today you should be able to say:
I have completed my introduction, and  body paragraphs in rough draft form.
I am ready to write my conclusion paragraph tomorrow.
I will finish this essay tomorrow, when I write the conclusion paragraph.
