-We will get back graded work and organize our binders.

-We will read Scope magazine and answer questions about the articles while
citing textual evidence and comparing the articles.

-We will create gmail accounts in the library for future assignments and activities.

-We will discuss citing textual evidence and paired texts worksheets and answers.  These will be collected for a quiz grade at the end of class.  (Complete for homework at the very latest!)

Wednesday, November 18, 2015

-Edit and revise our essays based on peer/teacher-made corrections and/or suggestions.

-Meet 1:1 with Mrs. King to discuss improving my writing.

-Complete Vocabulary 6a, b, c, and d by Friday.

-Final draft is due first thing Friday, 11/20.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ROUGH DRAFT OUT TO REFER TO!

*Meet with Mrs. King after school if needed (regarding your essay).
I WILL BE STAYING AT SCHOOL UNTIL AT LEAST 4:30pm TODAY.  Please come see me if you want or feel you need extra help with the essay.  It is worth 100 points and will be a TEST GRADE.

-Hand in final draft of essay at the beginning of class.
-Vocabulary 6 Project: Prezi  
1. As a class we will explore the Prezi website and how to create a Prezi Presentation Project.
2. Prezi Grading rubric and expectations
3. You will then practice creating your own Prezi based on any topic you'd like using the chromebooks.
4. You will then begin creating a Prezi based on the lesson 6 vocabulary INSTEAD of taking a test.
5. You will present your Prezi to the class on Monday.  USE THE GRADING RUBRIC AS YOU ARE WORKING ON YOUR PREZI!!!
